После завершения установки, расширение добавлено в браузер Опера.

How to install the extension in Edge based on Chromium

If there is no Kaspersky Protection Extension installed in your Edge based on Chromium, do the following: 

1. Open Edge based on Chromium.
2. In the Chrome store, open the Kaspersky Protection page.
3. Click Add to Chrome.

Я хочу рассказать короткую детективную историю о том, как большой и могучий Яндекс решил разрушить бизнес (не специально, конечно — совершенно случайно, по ошибке) нашему маленькому и уютному сайту, и о том, почему при создании расширений для браузеров, которые должны работать только на определенных сайтах — важно в коде прописать, чтобы расширение работало только на этих определенных сайтах, и ни на каких больше.
Суть в том, что пару месяцев назад нам стали поступать запросы от пользователей, с жалобой, что они не могут разместить объявление на сайте, потому что футер наезжает на кнопку «добавить», со скриншотами, типа таких:
Казалось бы, просто поехала верстка, футер стал наезжать на контент, при чем тут Яндекс?

Проверка кода и публикация

Прежде чем опубликовать, проверьте ещё раз весь код. Если вы делали всё так, как мы, то у должно было получиться следующее:

После проверки можно приступать к публикации расширения. Для этого у вас должны быть следующие файлы и папки:

И далее следуем инструкциям на скриншотах ниже.

Для загрузки расширения в магазин нам нужно зайти в меню, навести мышку на «дополнительные настройки», а затем выбрать «расширения» или ввести в адресной строке .

Далее нажимаем на «загрузить распакованное расширение» и выбираем папку с файлами.

После того, как вы выбрали папку с файлами, она загрузится в браузер и превратится в расширение, которое будет доступно за пределами правой части адресной строки.

How to Install Chrome Extension on Yandex Browser?

Here are the Steps to Install Chrome Extension on Android Using Yandex Browser.

Step 1. Download and Install the Yandex Browser from the Google Play Store

You can alternately also install Chrome Extension on Mozilla browser using a Firefox Addon.

• Download Mozilla Firefox or Firefox Nightly Browser from Play Store.
• Here first request the Desktop View.
• Now under Tools, click the option “Browse for All Add-ons”. A new Firefox Addon Tab will open.
• Search for Chrome Store Foxified and enable the plugin.
• Now go to the Chrome Web Store and search for your favourite extensions.
• You will see a message Add to Firefox. Just install the Chrome extension on Firefox Browser for Android. Done!

Using Mozilla to install Chrome Plugins may be a little complicated due to many incompatibilities and speed issues. It is, therefore, better to go with Yandex Browser for its simple and convenient installation. But the Firefox browser may support more Chrome extension on Android. Therefore I recommend you to try both the Browsers to test which one works well.

Since Chrome’s extension APIs are exposed as properties on a global object, we can run grep to find out what we use:

Before diving into the code, let’s head back to Bugzilla and make sure bugs have been filed for these. The bugs mentioned above cover History, Page Actions, and Permissions, but they don’t cover . I’ve filed Bug 1212890 for that.

Now that we’ve identified our limitations, we need to work around them. In the short term, we can just insert guards that check for the existence of an API before calling methods on it. For example, let’s look at how is :

This keeps the script from blowing up, but it means that will silently fail until Bug 1208334 gets resolved. Under certain circumstances, like with RES, this might be acceptable. Kiwi is a Chromium Based Browser which looks exactly like Chrome Browser with inbuilt Ad Blocking and Night Mode. Thanks to Google’s Open Source Chromium project it releases the source code of Chrome for the developers to play around. Many independent developers use this code and develop Browser. And one such is Kiwi.

The Kiwi is a Chrome-Based Browser which runs on Google’s Blink Engine and Webkit. Thus, you can expect the same speed and page loads. It also supports Chrome Web Extensions for you to Install Chrome Extensions in Kiwi Chrome Browser for Android.

Here are the simple steps to download and install Chrome Extensions on Android Browser.

Step #1. Download Kiwi Browser from Google Play Store.

Step #2. Open Kiwi Browser and enter chrome://extensions in the address bar.

Step #3. Enable developer mode. (If it doesn’t show up, you may need to reload the tab.)

Step #4. Now Visit chrome.google.com/webstore in Desktop Mode.

As I said above, some extension may have limitations due to smartphone web limits. If the extension is not supported by Browser then I recommend you to download any other extension of the same nature.

В 2012-2013 годах я нашёл одно онлайн-радио, которое «зацепило» меня большим выбором хорошей музыки и тем, что там (почти) не было рекламы.

По своей должности я — web-разработчик, да ещё интересуюсь различными технологиями и происходящим в науке, и посему у меня довольно часто открыто большое количество вкладок в браузере, а зачастую ещё и несколько профилей в браузере. А если ещё добавить к этому среду разработки, графический редактор, открытые папки, то хоть заводи навигатор по всем открытым окнам и вкладкам.

Музыка во вкладке в браузере у меня играла большую часть времени. Когда мне нужно было приостановить воспроизведение, чтобы ответить на звонок или посмотреть интересный видеоролик, приходилось сначала найти нужное окно браузера, потом — нужную вкладку и только после этого можно было нажать заветную кнопку паузы.

Такое происходило часто, и я всё чаще стал задаваться мыслью найти решение этой проблемы.

Use a Common Password Manager

Install Google Chrome Extensions on Browsers

1. Install Chrome extensions on Yandex browser

Yandex browser is another popular browser available for free on Google’s Play Store. It has a file size of around 41 MB, and has been downloaded over 50 million times. The browser is based on Chromium open source project and uses Google’s Blink browser engine, which means that its framework is quite the same as Google Chrome’s. Follow the steps below to add extensions:

Step 1 – Download and install Yandex browser from the Play Store.

Step 2 – Head over to chrome.google.com/webstore by typing it in the address bar of the Yandex browser. Once you do that, the browser will open the Chrome extensions page.

Step 3 – Now go to settings of browser and select Go to Full Site option.

Step 4 – Once you select the full site option, the whole site will change to desktop version

Step 5 – Now select or search the extension that you want to add then tap on Add to Chrome button

Step 6 – The extension will be added to your browser. Go to Extensions option to see your added extension.

Yandex browser supports popular extensions such as LastPass, Pocket, and Evernote natively.

2. Install Chrome extensions on Kiwi browser

The Kiwi browser is based on Chromium open-source project and uses its Blink rendering engine which also powers Google Chrome. So, it looks and performs very similar to Google Chrome. Also, it’s an open-source browser and doesn’t have any kind of background tracking.

Step 1 – Download the Kiwi Browser from Play Store

Step 2 – After that, open the browser and go to chrome.google.com/webstore

Step 3 – Search for the extension you want to install just like you do on your desktop. Tap on “Add to Chrome” and further tap on Ok. Now the extension will be installed.

Note that the extensions which are specifically made for desktop version of Chrome will not work here. Apart from that, any and all extensions are supported.

3. Install Chrome extensions on Firefox browser

Not all Android users want to have multiple web browsers installed and running on their device due to storage and memory issues, so for them, installing Yandex browser could be a big no. In case you are one of the users with Mozilla Firefox installed on their Android, you can use it to run Chrome extensions using the steps below.

Step 1 – Download the full version of Mozilla Firefox from the Play Store.

Step 2 – Click on Request desktop site from the menu so you can view web pages in a desktop interface and render them accordingly.

Step 3 – Click on Add-ons option under the menu. That will open a new Firefox Add-on tab. Now click on Browse all Firefox Add-ons.

Step 4 – Search for Chrome Store Foxified in the search bar and click on Add to Firefox option, followed by clicking on Add on the next popup.

Step 5 – Head over to chrome.google.com/webstore to download and install plugins accordingly.

Firefox browser to experience popular browser extensions and plugins on Android. It’s large directory of popular add-ons work efficiently and will not disappoint you, providing you a wholesome web browsing experience while not compromising on the performance.

Wrapping Up

As I mentioned at the beginning of the article, WebExtensions are still very early in their development, and things are rapidly changing. For example, PageAction support should land any day now. That said, WebExtensions are already astonishingly capable. For add-ons like RES that isolate and minimize browser-specific code, a port to WebExtensions is surprisingly close to being viable on Nightly builds of Firefox.

We’re still several months out from any of this landing in mainline Firefox, but it’s encouraging to see rapid progress. Each day we’re closer to a future in which a single add-on codebase can be fully re-used across many browsers, and where add-ons are written using the same technology as the Web itself.
